If you've set up your insurance to be paid on a monthly or fortnightly basis, we are unable to put these payments on hold. This is because the payments are set up as a direct debit with your bank. If, however, you don't want cover for a certain period of time, you can arrange the cancellation of your policy. Please do keep in mind that you'll need to set up a new policy when you're ready to start your cover again, and we would be unable to provide any cover for the period between active policies.
If you're currently paying for your policy on an annual basis and are unable to pay your total premium in full, you could look at setting up a fortnightly or monthly direct debit to help manage your premium. You can change back to paying your premium in full at any time in the future, if you prefer this payment frequency. It's important to note that your payment choice does impact your premium, and you do pay less if you choose to pay annually.
