If you’re already staying in temporary accommodation and another insured event occurs, we’ll still support you but the maximum amount we’ll pay stays the same. This means the total amount you can claim for all events combined is limited to the benefit in your policy (e.g., $20,000 or 12 months).
Additionally, if you or a family member has this benefit under more than one policy with us, we’ll apply the benefit in line with the policy terms (including any ‘other insurance’ provisions) and generally we’ll only pay under one policy per event.
